 I just got back from the most wonderful crop EVER. I was so inspired by all the talent around me. You ladies in MERRITT and the whole Valley scrapbook group ROCK Thanks for letting us be part of your great event. I will drive 3 hours to your crop any day.To all the ladies that did my classes thanks from the bottom of my heart for all the compliments. I really enjoyed teaching you and getting to know each and every one of you.  Here is the photos of the classes as promised.

Hi everyone

Sorry for not posting the past two weeks. We wrote our citizenship test this week so there was no time for scrapbooking. Luckily that is past us now and we can get back to the fun stuff.

I am preparing for the big crop weekend in Merritt next weekend. Here is an example of what can be done with one of the color themed pack that will be available.

Favorite Recipe

I love scrapbooking my recipes with some cute photos of the kids doing something food related.On this page I used 2 stew recipes that has been family favorites for a long time.

Using chipboard

 I am so excited to share this double page with you. I have printed these photos out a years ago and could never get the  right inspiration to scrapbook them. These photos are some of my favorite photos I have ever taken of Ruben.  Every photo represents who he is and I didn't want to lose that by scrapbooking them and putting the focus on the embellishments instead of his uniqueness. Until I saw these great barbwire chipboard pieces from SRTC. If I could choose a heading for this page it would have been "You"re as sharp as a blade". But again I felt that  a heading would redirect the focus. 

I embellished with these products from Southern Ridge Trading Company (SRTC) chipboard range.

The new releases from SRTC are awesome. These little words makes scrapbooking so much easier.  I always have some on hand. You can color them in 100 different ways to always look different and to match any layout. The barbwire were painted with green and then I used Glossy accent as my finish. The words was done with gold embossing powder.
